August and September mark the beginning of a new school year for teachers. One of the first big events that happens is Meet the Teacher night. You’ll hear it referenced by many things, like Meet and Greet, Open House, etc.
Meet the Teacher in my classroom has involved using my Meet and Greet kit which allows students and parents to move through a series of stations in the classroom. While I feel my idea is great, it’s always equally as great to see what other teachers are doing.
